Paris-based, independent corporate communications consultancy Maarc today announces the acquisition of Ulysse, an agency founded by former business journalists specializing in institutional media relations and executive positioning.
Twelve years after its founding in 2013 and following consistent growth, Maarc embarks on a new phase to strengthen its executive advisory services and accelerate its development. The agency is enhancing its expertise in economic & business media relations, financial communications, and leader advocacy. It also expands its network of influence and its client portfolio in key sectors such as finance, healthcare, real estate, and tech.
Following the merger of the two organizations, Maarc will bring together a team of around forty consultants serving over 70 clients, generating a combined gross margin exceeding €5 million.
“In an increasingly polarized and saturated public debate, we see growing demand from our clients for dedicated executive communications support. The expertise of Ulysse’s consultants strengthens our ability to advise leaders – whatever the stakes or the channels – while staying true to our belief: to be heard, one must speak clearly and truthfully,” said Cyrille Arcamone, Founding Partner of Maarc.
“Ulysse has found in Maarc the best possible partner. We share the corporate culture that Cyrille Arcamone and his partners have instilled at Maarc a culture of strategic vision, consulting and execution excellence, and close client relationships,” said Nicolas Daniels and Bruno Arabian, Partners at Ulysse.
In a context of growing instability, polarized opinions, and intensified public expression, Maarc and Ulysse share a strong belief: leaders must speak up now more than ever to safeguard the long-term success of their organizations. Whether addressing customers, investors, public authorities, or internal teams—through the media, social platforms, or behind the scenes—leaders need their voice to resonate.
This alliance brings together Maarc’s deep expertise in sensitive issues and crisis communication with Ulysse’s journalistic roots and keen understanding of the media landscape. Together, they offer a unique combination on the French communications market, enabling leaders to take control of their messaging and rebuild or reinforce trust with key stakeholders.
With Ulysse’s teams on board, Maarc broadens its sphere of influence and enhances its ability to engage the right opinion leaders—including beyond traditional media—while solidifying its know-how in economic & corporate media relations, financial communication, and leader advocacy. All this, with the same standards of clarity, precision, and impact.
Maarc now delivers an enhanced service offering structured around seven key areas: Economic & CSR media relations, leader advocacy, change management, crisis communication, monitoring & analysis, financial communications, public affairs.
Maarc’s longstanding clients in the public sector, food industry, healthcare, and consumer goods (including Airbnb, Biocoop, Cargill, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Guerlain, Mars Wrigley, the French Ministry of Education, Sanofi, Santé Publique France, the Government Information Service, etc.) are now joined by Ulysse’s dynamic and high-growth clients in finance, real estate, healthcare, and tech (such as Meanings Capital Partners, Crédit Agricole Immobilier, Alantra, Quandela, Qubit Pharmaceuticals, Proman, Corum L’Épargne, Genfit, Sensorion…).
